Month 9—ROI Measurement
Now it’s time to evaluate your success. We’ll check back in with your key stakeholders in order to better understand both progress and any gaps that may still need to be addressed. You’ll also receive a report that highlights all the work you’ve done, as well as suggestions for next steps in continuing your personal leadership journey.
“Good afternoon David! I wanted to drop you a quick note and let you know that our team has reached 75% of their 2016 Sales Goal and has exceeded 2015 sales by roughly $500K. I expect we will exceed our 2017 goal by the end of October. I learned a lot from you and continue to draw on the things we discussed. The more I learn about being a great leader the more I realize the positive impact you have had on me. Thank you!! “

Month 2—Feedback, IDP Development, & Stakeholder Alignment
Once your data is analyzed, we will have a comprehensive feedback session in which key findings are reported back in an anonymous fashion. You’ll then make choices at to where you would like to grow yourself as a leader and we’ll jointly create your own individual development plan that will establish tangible goals for the coming month's work together. Finally, we’ll share your plan with key stakeholders and garner support.

Month 1—Interviews & Assessments
It all starts with assessing your current state and engaging with key stakeholders. Rather than using an impersonal online feedback tool, David Spungin will personally interview those you truly care about and are imperative for your success. You will also take multiple behavioral self-assessments in order to determine your strengths and potential areas for development.
It’s lonely at the top. Today’s executives know this reality all to well. With greater authority and responsibility comes increased expectations to personally perform. With so many stakeholders to appease, and very little time to deliver results, the pressure can become overwhelming and impact one’s performance. In a world where competition for advancement is fierce, there’s no room for mediocrity and unrealized potential. Today’s executive needs an edge. More appropriately, they need to find their own edge as a leader.
What does it mean to find your edge? It starts with taking the time to think more strategically. It’s about acknowledging where you are succeeding as a leader, and having the humility to discover where you can improve. Next it becomes all about courage. What growth opportunities will push you outside your comfort zone? What are you willing to commit to? Will you do the work necessary for true transformation? Or will your bureaucracy of habits continue to limit your personal effectiveness? Finding your edge is not a journey for the faint of heart!
As such it’s not a journey executives should take alone, we need help. Today’s executive needs a skilled coach who can uncover “blind spots” and create learning opportunities. They need a trusted confidant who can act as a sounding board and provide perspective. They also need a proven process that will ensure progress and accountability. David Spungin, MSOD ACC developed The Executive Edge Program specifically to address these growing needs.
"David is an excellent coach and quickly became a friend. He was committed to taking my leadership to the next level, working with me to establish tangible goals, enhance strengths and capitalize on opportunities to improve. I highly recommend David for anyone seeking to align their leaderships skills with the mind as well as the heart. He will take you and your team to the next level.”

“David Spungin gave me a different point of view. With his help, I was able to recognize where I could improve myself. I found balance in my work and home life. With David as my executive coach, I have extensively changed my leadership approach. I now see myself more objectively. In the past, a distorted self-image prevented me from identifying areas that warranted improvement—a major stumbling block in my leadership growth and development. David quickly uncovered the problem and provided me the insights/tools I need to understand how others perceive me. With my newly honed skills, I can adjust my actions and modify my behaviors for increasingly positive results. These indispensable lessons will serve me well as I continue to climb the leadership ladder. My only regret is, I wish I had found David earlier in my career.”
